CALL FOR ARTISTS + DESIGNERS
Open Juried Exhibitions for Emerging Creatives
A Partnership between AABA / ArtsCrawl + Creative Albuquerque

Creative Albuquerque and Albuquerque Arts Business Association (AABA) / ArtsCrawl are pleased to announce their newest collaborative effort: An open juried exhibition and professional development program for emerging creatives.

We request works of art and design in all mediums -- including but not limited to drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, furniture, lighting and textile -- from emerging artists and designers who are interested in seeking gallery / professional representation.

Emerging artists and designers from the Greater Albuquerque Metro Area are encouraged to apply for these quarterly juried exhibitions. Each show enjoys an approximately 10-week exhibition, including a Downtown ArtsCrawl Reception, and all included works are for sale.

Please email your complete submissions to info@creativeabq.org and include the following:

  • Name, Address, URL (if applicable), Email and Phone
  • Brief Statement of Work (up to 1 page)
  • 6 - 10 JPEG images of the works you wish to be considered, with title, medium, dimensions and price for each (taking into account the 50% to go to AABA / Creative Albuquerque)

Submissions will be accepted on a continuous basis. To be considered for our upcoming program exhibitions, however, all materials must be received by the corresponding deadlines:

  • Summer 2011 - INAUGURAL SHOW - Submissions Due Friday, May 20, 2011 - Closed
  • Fall 2011 - ABSTRACTS - Submissions Due Friday, July 29, 2011 - Closed
  • Winter 2012 - FIGURATIVE WORKS - Submissions Due Friday, September 30, 2011 - Closed
  • Spring 2012 - PHOTOGRAPHY - Submissions Due Friday, December 23, 2011 - Closed
  • Summer 2012 - TEXTILE & SCULPTURE - Submissions Due Friday, February 24, 2012
  • Fall 2012 - GENERAL WORKS - Submissions Due Friday, April 20, 2012
