Our mission is to introduce children to plays and musicals to be performed by youth and to develop an appreciation for children's theater in our community. Celebrating our 31st season in Albuquerque, New Mexico Young Actors continues to present musicals and children theater classics for our youngest audiences. Kimo Theater productions feature family favorites such as The Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin. In the professional environment of the KiMo Theater, children have the opportunity to learn theater etiquette and enjoy spectacular fully staged productions. Two touring shows bring our exuberant actors and their portable stage directly to central New Mexico public and private schools. In the fall, we tour with a melodrama so that our audiences can loosen all those pent up feelings they have for bad guys. The audience can boo at the villain and cheer on our hero. Every spring, we present a theater classic such as The Princess and the Pea or Rapunzel.
