The Creative Bravos Awards
honoring innovation, entrepreneurship and impact

The Creative Bravos Awards are presented to individuals, organizations, events and/or businesses for outstanding achievements within and exceptional contributions made to any sector of the creative economy. In particular, the recipients are recognized for their innovation, entrepreneurship and impact upon Greater Albuquerque.

The 2012 Creative Bravos Honorees have been announced!

The Emerging Creative Bravos and Young Creative Bravos Award Recipients, new categories for 2012, as well as the President’s Award Recipient, will be announced in the coming weeks.

A People’s Choice Award will also be presented, determined by online voting open from January 12 - 26, 2012.

Creative Bravos Past
a legacy of community celebration

In January 2010, the Arts Alliance – which founded and carried out the Bravos tradition – emerged as Creative Albuquerque, with an expanded constituency and an evolved mission to grow the creative economy.

The Spring of 2011 marked the event's 26th anniversary and, in complement to the organization’s transition, it emerged as the Creative Bravos Awards. While continuing to honor the arts, it also celebrated the accomplishments of members of our broader creative community.

Check out last year's fabulous gala celebration, which took place in April at the Albuquerque Museum of Art and History.
