MISSION
Creative Albuquerque’s mission is to grow the creative economy.
VISION
We recognize that art, design, entertainment, media, culture and education – among other creative enterprises – are prerequisites of prosperity. We provide services and support dedicated to the creative vibrancy and economic health of our community.
ACTION
Creative Albuquerque, a 501(c)(3), is organized to coordinate and connect all sectors of the creative economy in Greater Albuquerque. To realize this purpose, we provide the following services and support:
- Communication: Increasing connectivity through our website, e-newsletter, social media and networking events
- Education: Building shared knowledge through creative speaker luncheons, seminars and symposiums
- Information: Tracking trends and documenting the contributions made to the economy by creative enterprises
- Advocacy: Formulating and championing relevant policies at the local, state and national levels
- Funding: Identifying, advancing and promoting sources of sustainable, capacity-building funding
- Leadership: Establishing cohesive direction and cultivating leaders for the arts and cultural industries
- Economic Development: Stimulating entrepreneurship and employment growth through cultural planning
